Tripod Turnstiles are entrance solutions designed for smooth and silent operation, less wear and tear and
reduced power consumption, suitable for areas where there is a large flow of people.
TR6 is a head of tripod turnstile, can be fixed to anywhere such as a wall, a table or any bracket. TR6
saves space, often be used by bus.
On receiving a signal from the access control system, or push button, allows the passage of one person at
a time. The status is shown on the led-way mode indicators, in entry and exit side.
Passage in both directions is electronically controlled. Available in normally closed configuration to lock
the mechanism until a valid authorization signal is received, or available in normally open configuration
to lock the mechanism in the event of attempted unauthorized entry. The normally open configuration
allows also reduced power consumption and increases the life of the mechanism and passage through put
speed. In case of emergency, the hub can freely rotate to allow an easier exit. You can also choose the
drop arm option that automatically drops the horizontal arm to allow free passage. Led way mode
indicators included as standard.

Operation:
On receiving a signal from the access control system or push button, the unit will
unlock and drive through 120°away from signal direction. Should the arms meet
any resistance it will stop and nudge forward. If obstruction continues the unit will
alarm and free wheel. An Auto Reset will re-establish control.
Power Failure:
On the event of an emergency or isolation of power supply, units will fail-safe i.e.
rotor would freely turn in both directions.
Fire Alarm – Input facility available for voltage free contact supplied by others to
effect fail safe state.
Interface:
two direction rotation input signal, Potential-free contact provided by either a card
reader or pushbutton input. Card reader inhibit and reset output signals available as
standard.
Construction:
Pedestals are constructed of a steel frame. Small radius casework construction and
finishes applied such that no exposed seams appear at leading edges. Integrated
panels easily removed for Preventative Maintenance.
